Extracting CUG Volume 384:
First, create a DOS subdirectory for each .zip file in this volume.
Copy pkunzip.exe from disk#1, and make sure it's in your path. Copy
each .zip file from each disk into its corresponding subdirectory. From
within each subdirectory, type:
pkunzip *.zip
This will extract all files in the .zip file to that subdirectory.
Special considerations:
1) Files gs4.zip, gs5.zip, gs7.zip, and gs8.zip all contain readme files
in a variety of filenames (readme.doc, readme, readme.1st, etc). To
avoid name collisions, you must expand these .zip files in separate
subdirectories. These files are not to be confused with file read.me,
which you are now reading.
2) Those files in gs9.zip having extension .GSF are font files. All
files contained in gs10.zip thru gs13.zip are font files. You should
move all font files to a "fonts" subdirectory before you attempt to run
Ghostscript.
3) The final subdirectory structure of your Ghostscript installation is
up to you. You should follow any recommendations in the readme files.
For the sake of extraction, you should initially create a unique DOS
subdirectory for each .zip file.
